When he was a young adult, he tried to become a stand-up comedian. His comedy career wasn't a success, however it helped pave the way to his acting career. To become successful in the field of comedy, he got a job working as a cameraman at the local cable TV station. When he was working for the cable station, he realized that he would like to be in the camera. He was then able to secure an appearance on television and was on several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The actor was naturally talented and gained a lot of attention on TV. His comedic characters brought the actor fame and an impressive film career. His career was further enhanced when he portrayed Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In his later years and grew older, he began to explore producing and directing. The performance he made in 2014's Birdman earned him several nominations and awards.
