Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall. Downfall won an Oscar and won critical and commercial success. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra has been associated with numerous important projects both locally and internationally. This includes the British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon among others. She has also been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and at the Cannes Film Festival.
